Working the stage at Canada Blooms this year reinforced something I have known in my bones forever: kids and gardens are meant for each other. I am pretty darned proud of the work I do promoting gardening, because it actually means something for families, and the future.
Perry Molema deeply appreciated how our living, green world enhances lives, and spoke eloquently on the topic. A volunteer-built garden at Zonta Park in Chatham, Ont., honours his memory; dedication ceremony is May 31. Join me at the dedication of a living monument to Perry’s leadership.
